PRAYER:
Hi God. Easter is when we are reminded that you turned the inevitability of death into the invincibility of life! Help us to celebrate your resurrection while also remembering your suffering and death was for each one of us, so we can have a life with you. Help me understand that I matter so much to you, am loved so much by you, that you did this for me. Help me to know you better and accept that love and forgiveness shown at Easter. Amen
PAUSE FOR THOUGHT:
The Easter Post starts at the top with a crown of thorns, placed on Jesus’s head during his trial; next are the three nails representing his crucifixion; and at the bottom is the King’s crown, representing victory by his resurrection. Why do you think there is a heart on the post?

FUN QUESTION:
Jesus’s name is associated with two types of crown, both seen on the Easter Post. First, he wore a crown of horrible thorns but after his resurrection we talk about him wearing the crown of the “Kings of kings”, wearing the victor’s crown.
Some crowns are made of gold and very expensive stones. Where in London are the crowns of kings and queens kept and can be seen by the public?
