Clock

“There is a special time for everything. There is a time for everything that happens under heaven. There is a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pick what is planted.”

(Ecclesiastes 3.1-2)

Try counting 60 seconds.

Each member of the family can take it in turns to see who is the nearest to exactly one minute when they reach 60.

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT:

We cannot change our past, but we can each make new and better choices about our future. “The future starts today, not tomorrow.” – Pope John Paul II

PRAYER:

“Hi God. You hold all of our days in Your hands. Help me to see time not as a rush or a burden, but as a precious gift from You.  Give me the grace to use today with love, joy, and peace. Help me to let go of yesterday’s mistakes and not worry too much about tomorrow.”

FUN FACT:

There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day, which means, every day there are 86,400 seconds and 31,536,000 seconds in a year (or 31,622,400 in a leap year!).
