Secure in our faith
“We have this hope as an anchor for our soul, firm and secure.”
(Hebrews 6 v 19)
PRAYER:
Thank you God for being an anchor of hope for our souls. When the fierce tide rises, you steady us because you are trustworthy and strong. Lead me into deeper waters with you.
PAUSE FOR THOUGHT:
An anchor is attached to the ship and holds it secure, stops it from drifting. In life, having an ‘anchor’ gives us reassurance, security and stops us from drifting.
