Cross

Green plants – New Life / Resurrection

“Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father so we too may walk in newness of life.”

(Romans 6 v 4)

PRAYER:

“Heavenly Father, I pray today for new beginnings. I have seen distress, and I have wandered, I have been downcast and broken-hearted. Yet all things are made new in You, oh Lord. Your steadfast love never ceases, and your mercies come fresh and new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness, so I will put my hope and faith in you. For in You alone come new beginnings. You will wipe away my tears and restore me from my wanderings. You will make all things new and lead me to a new life in You. Lord I will put my hope in you.”

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT:

“Forgiveness says you are given another chance to make a new beginning.” (Desmond Tutu)
